Passion Or Peer Pressure

Lately, my mind has been so engrossed in photography. Anytime I’m alone, I just wish I had a camera with me. I’m not sure why I’ve suddenly developed such a keen interest in it. But someone suggested that maybe it’s a passion of mine, or perhaps I’m just influenced by seeing others do it. He went on to say that if it’s truly a passion, I should take it seriously. If not, then I should reconsider, because that’s where many people go wrong. Often, people do things just because others are doing them. They don’t realize the challenges and struggles involved in making that thing successful. After some attempts and failures, they realize the truth, possibly after investing a lot of time and resources with little to show for it. Always make sure you’re doing something you’re passionate about— something you don’t force, something that comes naturally, something that you do smoothly—yeah, That’s it man. Do something that you are passionate about.

I’m still figuring out whether it’s really passion or just peer pressure driving me into it. Haha.
